This morning, we begin a half-day historical tour of Malacca, exploring the rich cultural heritage of this UNESCO-listed city.

Start with a visit to St. Peter’s Church (1710) – the oldest functioning Christian church in Malaysia. Drive past Bukit China (Chinese Hill), home to the largest 17th-century Chinese cemetery outside of China. Stop at the Sultan’s Well, located at the foothill, before continuing through the Portuguese Settlement.

Next, visit the iconic Porta de Santiago (A Famosa gateway) and explore the ruins of St. Paul’s Church, where centuries-old Dutch tombstones still remain. Proceed to Dutch Square, also known as Red Square, featuring salmon-pink colonial buildings including the Melaka Museum and several government offices. Also visit the nearby Christ Church, a hallmark of Dutch architecture.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple – a unique temple where Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism coexist under one roof.

The tour also includes a visit to the Kampung Kling Mosque and the Sri Vinayagar Hindu Temple, showcasing Malaysia's multicultural harmony. Conclude the tour with a leisurely stroll down Jonker Street (Melaka’s Antique Street), ending by the scenic Melaka River.
