After the breakfast at the hotel start the tour. First stop is near the Arch of Charents from where, the beautiful panoramic view of Ararat valley is opened. Later head to Garni Fortress, which dates to 3rd century BC and to its jewel pagan Temple of Garni, which dates to 1st AD. It is said that this natural monument is the result of the collapse of the volcanic rocks. Drive to Lake Sevan, also referred to as Pearl of Armenia. Set 1900 m above sea level and covering 1240 sq km, the vast expanse of Sevana Lich (Lake Sevan) is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. Optionally enjoy a walking tour of Sevan Peninsula and views of Sevanavank and the picturesque lake. Return to Yerevan.

After the breakfast at the hotel start the tour to Khor Virap. The monastery Khor Virap stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat offering a spectacular view of the mountain, the national symbol of Armenia.

It is where Grigor Lusavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator) was imprisoned for 13 years before curing King Trdat III of a disease, which led to the baptism of Armenia into Christianity in 301 AD. It is from here that the most gorgeous and picturesque views of the snow-white Ararat, green fields and mountains on the horizon open. Then head to Areni Winery to taste different kinds of Armenian wines.

It is among the oldest and most well-established wine facilities in the area, with history of wine-making in the region dating back as far as 6000 years. Return to Yerevan.
