Cu Chi Tunnels – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An

After breakfast, check out and depart for a half-day excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary underground network stretching over 250 kilometers. Built in 1948, the tunnels expanded over 25 years into a fully functioning underground city with kitchens, storage, hospitals, and living areas, sheltering thousands during the war.

Explore the tunnels and learn how locals lived, worked, and even raised families underground. For those interested, you’ll also have the option to fire rounds from a war-era M16 or AK47 at the nearby range (optional activity, extra cost).

After the tour, transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a short 1-hour flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, meet your driver for a transfer to Hoi An. In the evening, enjoy a visit to Ann Tailor for a complimentary tailor-made clothing item.

After breakfast, set out on a bicycle ride to discover Hoi An’s countryside and local flavors. Begin with a stop at a local restaurant to taste the city’s famous Cao Lau noodles, a specialty dish unique to Hoi An. Continue biking through scenic landscapes to Tra Que Village, where you’ll join a local family to learn how to make the traditional “white rose” dumpling cakes and enjoy your creations.

The ride continues to Cam Nam Village, where you’ll savor authentic local treats such as Banh Dap (“cracked rice pancake”) and Che Bap (“corn and coconut sweet soup”).

In the afternoon, visit the My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in a lush valley surrounded by mountains. Explore the ancient ruins of the Champa Kingdom, dating back to the 3rd century, and uncover the history of this remarkable Hindu sanctuary.

Overnight in Hoi An.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of free time to explore Hoi An at your own pace. Wander through the charming Ancient Town, shop for souvenirs, relax by the riverside, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

If you wish, you can also join an optional tour with Hoi An Express to discover more of the region’s hidden gems.

Later in the day, transfer to Da Nang.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Bangkok.

Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in the city.

Check in and take the rest of the day to relax or explore at your leisure.

By overnight train – 14 hours 20 minutes

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for a half-day excursion to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Travel by long-tailed speedboat through the 19th-century canals built by King Rama IV. Along the way, cruise past lively stalls where vendors sell fresh produce, handmade sweets, and unique souvenirs.

In the evening, transfer to the train station for your overnight journey to Chiang Mai.

Early arrival in Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the train station and transferred for breakfast before beginning your City Temples Tour.

• Wat Chedi Luang – home to the largest stupa in Chiang Mai.

After breakfast, visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most iconic and sacred temple. Perched atop the 5,300-foot (1,615-meter) Doi Suthep Peak, this 600-year-old temple is an important pilgrimage site and offers breathtaking views of the city below, along with stunning photo opportunities.

After breakfast, your driver will meet you for a comfortable transfer to Chiang mai International Airport "CNX"
