Introduction
Welcome to Eastgate Tours (the “Company”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services and your interaction with us as a travel provider. By confirming a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please refrain from using our services.
Services
Eastgate Tours provides travel-related services including, but not limited to, guided tours, accommodation arrangements, transportation bookings, and other travel experiences (collectively, the “Services”). All services are subject to availability and may be modified or withdrawn without prior notice.
Booking & Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received, and we issue a booking confirmation or voucher. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
Payments & Cancellations
- Deposit: A deposit is required to secure your booking, typically 10–50% of the total cost.
- Full Payment: The balance is due according to the date and terms specified in your booking confirmation.
Cancellation Fees
If there’s no other option than to cancel, we’d like to make sure you’re aware of the potential fees involved. The overview below shows this tour’s cancellation fees depending on how far ahead of the departure date you cancel.
- Up to 15 days before departure – You forfeit 50% of the tour cost
- 14 days before departure – You forfeit 90% of the tour cost
- 2 days before departure – You forfeit 100% of the tour cost
Please note: Any changes made after confirmation may incur amendment fees or additional supplier charges.
Use of Services
- Eligibility: By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
- Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete personal and travel information. Eastgate Tours is not liable for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete data.
Travel Documents
You must ensure that all necessary travel documents (passports, visas, permits, etc.) are valid and up to date before your departure. Eastgate Tours is not responsible for delays or losses due to missing or incorrect documentation.
Insurance & Health
It is your responsibility to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, personal injury, baggage loss, and similar risks. We strongly recommend securing insurance before your trip begins.
Liability & Limitations
Eastgate Tours acts as an intermediary between you and independent service providers (hotels, transport companies, guides, etc.). We are not liable for their acts, omissions, service interruptions, or force majeure events beyond our control.
Conduct & Safety
All travelers are expected to behave respectfully and follow instructions from tour leaders and local providers. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior. No refunds will be given in such cases.
Personal Property
You are responsible for your personal belongings throughout the trip. Eastgate Tours is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to your property, or delays in baggage delivery.
Complaints
If you encounter any issues during your trip, please inform us or your tour leader immediately so we can attempt to resolve the matter on the spot. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of your tour’s completion.
Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website and will apply to all future bookings.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
